Follow these steps to accurately calculate your Zakat obligation according to Islamic principles:
Input all cash you have on hand and the total balance in your bank accounts. This includes savings accounts, checking accounts, and any other liquid cash holdings.
Enter the weight of your gold and silver in grams, along with current market prices per gram in SAR. Include jewelry that you own for investment purposes (not personal use items).
Add the value of your stocks, shares, investment properties (not your primary residence), and business inventory. Only include assets held for investment or trade.
Enter money owed to you that you expect to receive, and debts you owe that are due within the year. Your net zakatable wealth is calculated after deducting immediate debts.
