Important Notice

This calculator provides estimates based on Saudi Labor Law. Regular and Ramadan overtime are paid at 150% of hourly rate. Holiday/weekend work receives 150% overtime rate PLUS the regular hourly pay for those hours worked. Actual calculations may vary based on your employment contract.

Overtime Types Explained

Regular Overtime (150%)

According to Saudi Labor Law Article 107, any work beyond regular working hours (8 hours/day or 48 hours/week) is paid at 150% of the regular hourly rate. This is the most common type of overtime.

Holiday/Weekend Overtime (150% + Regular Pay)

Work performed on weekly rest days (typically Friday) or official holidays is compensated at 150% overtime rate PLUS the regular hourly pay as per Article 108. This means you receive your normal hourly rate for the hours worked, plus an additional 50% premium on top of that.

Ramadan Overtime (150%)

During Ramadan, regular working hours are reduced to 6 hours per day for Muslim employees. Any hours worked beyond these 6 hours are considered overtime and paid at 150% of the regular rate.
