How to Calculate Your End of Service Benefits

Follow these simple steps to calculate your gratuity

1

Enter Your Last Basic Salary

Input your most recent monthly basic salary in Saudi Riyals. This is the base amount used for gratuity calculations, excluding allowances.

2

Select Your Contract Type

Choose between limited period (fixed-term) or unlimited period (open-ended) contract. This may affect your rights in certain separation scenarios.

3

Specify Years of Service

Enter the number of complete years you've worked with your employer. Count from your start date to your expected or actual end date.

4

Add Additional Months

If you have additional months beyond complete years (e.g., 5 years and 7 months), enter the number of extra months here.

5

Select Separation Type

Choose the reason for employment termination: voluntary resignation, employer termination, contract completion, or special cases under Articles 80 or 81.

6

Review Your Calculation

See your total end of service gratuity with detailed breakdown showing applicable article, reductions (if any), and final amount based on Saudi Labor Law.

Your Rights Under Saudi Labor Law

Understanding your end of service rights ensures you receive what you're legally entitled to upon termination or resignation.

  • Gratuity is calculated based on your last basic salary, not total compensation
  • Part-time employees are entitled to gratuity proportional to their working hours
  • Gratuity must be paid within 7 days of your last working day
  • You can claim unpaid gratuity through labor courts if your employer refuses payment
Legal Framework & Compliance

This calculator follows Articles 80, 81, and 84 of the Saudi Labor Law and all amendments through 2025.

  • Based on the latest Saudi Labor Law regulations
  • Includes all separation scenarios: Articles 80, 81, and 84
  • Accounts for both limited and unlimited contract types
  • Compliant with Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development guidelines
